The CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability course provides students the skills and knowledge required in the community services industry to
empower people with disabilities to achieve higher independence level, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing through training and support. This course contains
14 units (11 core and 3 electives) and covers the following themes;
- Support Independence and Wellbeing
- Compliant Aged Care Practice
- Work in Health and Community Services
- Support and Empowerment of Older People
- Palliative Care Services
- Empowering People with Disability
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you should have;
- Completed at least Year 12 from an Australian secondary school or overseas equivalent
OR
Proof of equivalent competency in core skills to a level appropriate for the course being applied for - CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (recommended but not compulsory)
- Successful completion of a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment
- Working with Children Check and Police Clearance – Blue Card
- A good level of physical fitness
Outline
The Certificate IV in Disability course is delivered through
online study. We understand that students have commitments and responsibilities to attend to, however, we require students to submit a
minimum of one assessment per month
in order to complete the course without delay.
