Overview

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care course provides the skills and knowledge for a variety of child-care positions – Assistant, Nanny, Playgroup Supervisor, Family Day Care Worker, or Mobile Childcare Assistant. This course is currently a pre-requisite for working in child-care centres or family day care. In this course you learn about children’s health and safety, how to provide care for young children, support their development and provide experiences that make their play and learning really enjoyable.
This course will provide you with first-class training from our highly qualified trainers. In order to complete the course you will need to study 15 Core Units and 3 Electives.
As part of the course assessment, you’ll need to attend work placement for a total of 120 hours in a regulated education and care service centre.

Entry Requirements
There are no prerequisite for the qualification, however it is recommended participants have the following ACSF Levels:
Level 3 for Learning, Reading , Writing & Oral and Level 2 for Numeracy.
An initial LLN assessment will be conducted to identify their ACSF level.

12 months face to face or up to 18 months online.
