The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course provides you with the necessary skills to work in a range of educational settings.
This course is specifically designed for people to work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of approved learning framework and support children's wellbeing, learning, and development.
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care has been developed against national requirements and is nationally recognised.
There is a mandatory work placement requirement of a minimum of 120 hours to complete this course. Students are provided with a learner guide and project workbook for the work placement and eLearning course materials.
The work placement hours must be in a regulated education and care service, which would include long day care, family day care, preschools/kindergartens, outside school hours care, occasional care and mobile.
