About this Course
Once you have completed your Certificate II in Security Operations, this is the course that you must complete to add further, more specialised, security functions to your licence, such as Bodyguard, Crowd Controller (also included in our Cert II in Security
Operations), Cash in Transit, and Monitoring. It will also prepare you for middle management or supervisory positions, and is a requirement for airport security. Please be aware - not all training companies offer the same units, when doing your research check
what functions you will be able to add to your licence on completion of the course.
Gain the knowledge and practical skills to work effective as a security officer in shopping centres, control rooms, monitoring centres, cash in transit, nightclubs, events, building sites, patrol and more. Through a combination of theory and practical, including role plays and defence techniques, you will learn to perform the responsibilities of a security guard in a lawful, ethical and highly effective manner.

RAM Training Services run Certificate III in Security Operations course as a 4-day Face to Face course, fortnightly out of Southport on the Gold Coast, as well as monthly at Woolloongabba in Brisbane, and Mackay.

RAM Training Services was established to deliver security training to guards in the Gold Coast Areas. The company became an RTO in 2008 and has been delivering the Certificate II in Security Operations and First Aid on a weekly basis out of the Gold Coast, Brisbane and throughout Qld ever since. We also run Certificate IV Training and Assessment, mining inductions, Justice of the Peace courses, and have formed relationships with two other RTO’s to deliver courses in Business, RMLV, RSA, RSG, Certificate II / III / IV and Diploma in Hospitality, and Certificate IV and Diploma in WHS. All of these courses are fully accredited and provide you with a nationally recognised qualification upon completion.
