Do you need to complete a pre-requisite course before you commence some of our more advanced courses?
These six foundation skills units are prerequisites for some of our courses.
You will receive a Statement of Attainment showing that you understand horse behaviour and can work safely around horses and well as taking care of horses and the associated tasks.
In your Core Foundation Units course (Statement of Attainment from ACM20217 Certificate II in Horse Care), the following units of competency are included:
- ACMEQU201 Work safely in industries with horses
- ACMEQU202 Handle horses safely
- ACMEQU203 Provide basic care of horses
- ACMEQU204 Perform daily tasks in the horse industry
- ACMEQU205 Apply knowledge of horse behaviour
- ACMGAS202 Participate in workplace communications
This course about foundational horse skills SOA has been designed for fast-track study, prior to a higher level course, full-time study over 16 weeks(20 weeks including holidays).
Of course, your enrolment will be valid for up to a year. If you would like to re-enrol for a further year, simply contact us for your updated enrolment details.
