What is the Register? We provide help when it's needed most. Our Standby Register enables UN agencies, international non-government organisations and the Australian Government to access skilled workers quickly in a humanitarian crisis.
Our humanitarian professionals draw on significant experience in a range of fields, including water and sanitation, nutrition, coordination, shelter, logistics, public health, surveying, project management and social work.
The people we place are of exceptional quality and have undertaken our training to ensure they are well prepared for emergency work. They are able to quickly mobilise local communities and manage international aid effectively, making a lasting difference to the lives of people affected by disasters and crises. We provide ongoing training to our register members to ensure they are equipped to provide the best assistance possible.
RedR Australia is internationally recognised as a provider of quality humanitarian training. We have been training humanitarian workers since 1998, working with UNHCR eCentre, WFP and UNICEF as well as the NGO community to provide training in Australia and
throughout the Asia Pacific.
We continue to be the preferred training provider for Australian Government staff and the NGO community, attracting participants from all over the world. Our training courses are a prerequisite for people seeking to join the RedR Australia Standby Register for deployment on UN and other emergency response field missions.
