Details
During this Provide First Aid HLTAID011 (previously HLTAID003) course, you will learn how to perform first aid in a variety of scenarios including at home, work or in the community. The skills developed in this course can benefit everyone and help you effectively respond in the event of an emergency. The Provide First Aid course covers:
- Assessing emergency situations
- Performing CPR in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines
- Using an automatic external defibrillator (AED)
- Various first aid techniques
Please Note:
Students must be physically capable of responding to first aid emergency scenarios, including Provide CPR to a manikin on the floor. Anyone in a wheelchair or with other disabilities that may impact their participation in these activities should contact us to discuss their individual circumstances before enrolling.
