Details
Acquire the correct skills and knowledge to administer and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Refresh your previous CPR HLTAID009 (Previously 001) certification or take it for the first time and learn how to save a life. As part of this course, you’ll cover:
- How to assess an emergency situation
- How to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED)
- First Aider’s legal responsibilities
- Understand DRSABCD action plan
This Provide CPR certification is trained and assessed in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
Please note:
Students must be physically capable of responding to first aid emergency scenarios, including Provide CPR to a manikin on the floor. Anyone in a wheelchair or with other disabilities that may impact their participation in these activities should contact us to discuss their individual circumstances before enrolling.
We are unable to train students on a student visa. You must find a CRICOS registered training provider.
