Outline

In this course you will learn:

  • how to use a computer and other digital technologies for work and study
  • how to use and produce business documents, spreadsheets, electronic presentations, database applications, software applications

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Participate in sustainable work practices
  • Use email to communicate in a work environment
  • Contribute to the health and safety of self and others
  • Use computer operating systems and hardware
  • Operate application software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Design and produce business documents
  • Design and produce spreadsheets
  • Create electronic presentations
  • Securely manage personally identifiable information and workplace information
  • Operate database applications
  • Use digital technology for non-routine workplace tasks

At the end of the course, you will be issued a certificate in ICT20120 Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies where competency has been achieved.

These criteria will determine your exact fee. Students who meet additional specified criteria, may be eligible for a concession fee or a fee exemption.
