Certificate II is perfect for the beginner or intermediate student. This course aims to

introduce the dance student to a variety of dance styles and performance skills.
Full time and part time schedules available

Graduates will be able to undertake further training at the next level :

CUA30120 Certificate III in Dance

Subsidies available for eligible students through the Skills First Program
CRICOS registered for International students

 

Outline

Certificate II is offered full time for 6 months or part time for 1 year
full time - Monday to Thursday 10am-5.30pm
part time - 10 classes per week, choosen from our day, night and Saturday timetable to suit your schedule

government funding available for eligible students
CRICOS registered for International students

The high standard of theatrical talent that Australia has produced has long been recognised throughout the world.

If you combine tenacity and positive energy with all round strength in dance and acting and singing , you create a performer who is able to shine in any performance situation, which is the hallmark of the Australian performer.

Dance Factory is the one performing arts studio that has ridden and supported this wave of acceptance and admiration from the early 1980’s to the present day.

At it’s beginning, Dulcie Lee saw the need to establish a studio that catered to the specific requirements of modern musical theatre and commercial dance. A studio that would allow professionals the opportunity to teach, and pass on their knowledge in an atmosphere of excellence. A studio that would allow students to focus full time on developing and honing their performance skills and then graduate into the world of the professional.

Thus in 1982 Dance Factory was created, and in 1985 the Dance Factory full time course was established, setting a level of training that others would try to follow. Due to the quality of its’ teachers, a strong emphasis on performance and Dulcie Lee’s direction, and attention to technique and detail, the Dance Factory students have found their place throughout the West End, Broadway, Asia and virtually every major musical production in Australian Theatre. ...
