- General Operator Safety Employer and operator responsibilities Hazard identification, risk management and reporting Communication methods Identifying and reporting defects Light vehicle classifications Defensive driving techniques
- Static Practical Practical prestart and post operational vehicle inspections Practical Wheel Change using Take 5 Risk Assessment Trip Planning using Journey Management Plans
- Practical Driver Training Commentary drive demonstration Commentary drive practical (Sealed and unsealed Roads) Emergency braking and vehicle control Gravel road module including navigate and communicate exercise
DAY 2
- Trip Planning and Preparation Trip planning and journey preparation for driving in remote areas and off road environments Hitch and unhitch Trailer Jump start a vehicle
- Off Road Driver Training Hazard identification, risk management and reporting Off road driving techniques Obstacle identification Identify and implement equipment and techniques to negotiate obstacles using hierarchy of control Basic and advanced recovery techniques
- Additional Modules also available All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) module using Polaris Diesel Ranger Trailer Towing and Reversing Module
