Details
Mode: A combination of delivery modes, including online, face-to-face and observation are used to ensure this licensed unit, meets the expectations of the VET Quality Framework (VQF), standards of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package and The National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work (2015).
Method: The delivery of this unit enables you to learn using a variety of mediums, learning tools and methods that include self paced tasks, group activities and practice of skills on full scale equipment in a simulated workplace. Students train and practice skills learnt, before being assessed against National Mandated Assessment instruments.
Process: This course is delivered in four (4) Sessions to collect evidence of competency, over a minimum of three (3) full days (face-to-face), plus self paced learning tasks.
ATTA's enrolment registration and course induction session must be conducted by all students prior to the commencement of every course. It is essential for enrolled participants to complete these entry requirements to understand ATTA's course schedule and
to familiarise yourself with our facilities. The course induction, conducted on day 1, provides opportunity to clarify the HRW licensing system, course structure and expected time schedules.

Outline
Session 1: Self Paced
This task is to be completed to satisfy the pre-course requirments and introduce students to the core course elements and High Risk Work Licensing
Session 2: Face-to-face Training
Students complete course induction before participating in trainer led presentation, group learning acitvity and oral questioning.
Session 3: Face-to-face Training
Skills learnt are practiced in a simulated workplace using full scale scaffold and scaffold equipment.
Session 4: Face-to-face Assessment
Students complete three mandatory assessment tasks in test conditions and conducted to meet High Risk Work licensing requirements.
