The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) course provides students with a range of skill and knowledge to provide person-centred support to those in need due to disability. This course contains 13 units (7 core and 6 electives) and covers the following themes;
  • Support Independence and Wellbeing
  • Work in Health and Community Services
  • Support and Empowerment of People with Disability
  • Legislation and Diversity
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you should have;
  • Completed at least Year 12 from an Australian secondary school or overseas equivalent
    OR
    Proof of equivalent competency in core skills to a level appropriate for the course being applied for
  • Successful completion of a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment
  • Working with Children Check and Police Clearance – Blue Card
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • Immunisation (recommended)

Outline

The Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) course is delivered through online study. We understand that students have commitments and responsibilities to attend to, however, we require students to submit a minimum of one assessment per month in order to complete the course without delay.
