This nationally recognised course, delivered in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO # 90909), teaches students to aid an individual suffering an asthma attack until the arrival of qualified medical assistance.

This course is now a national requirement in Child Care facilities to work as a Child Care worker. With the Asthma Management course recognised for the purpose of Regulations 136(1) (b) and 136(3) (b) of the National Regulations for Early Childhood Education and Care.

RAM Training Services runs the Emergency Asthma Management in the Workplace course as a thorough 3 hour face to face course, plus assessment. Similarly refresher courses can be completed in 1.5 hours face to face, plus assessment. A combined Asthma Management course with the Management of Anaphylaxis and CPR courses can be completed in 4 to 5 hours, plus assessment – with added savings!

Industry recommendations set the renewal date for this course at 3 years, this however varies due to certain industry requirements, some workers dependant on their industry may need to renew every 12 months to meet regulation.

Anyone who is responsible for the care of individuals most importantly in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, and any professionals requiring compliance. Importantly workers licensed in Children Services, Family Day Care and out-of-hours School Care must demonstrate appropriate competency every 12 months.
