Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certifications are the foundation of Microsoft’s new generation of server technology credentials. MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certificate demonstrates your ability to Configure and maintain Windows Server solutions in an enterprise environment.
MCSA credential holders are leaders in performing essential tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server 2012 operating system, client-server structure, network infrastructure, virtualisation and implementing cloud-optimized technology solutions using Microsoft products.
MCSA certification requires that you pass the following three exams:
- Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 (70-410)
- Administering Windows Server 2012 (70-411)
- Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services (70-412)
After you pass your first qualifying Microsoft certification exam, you are deemed a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and you can benefit from MCP services.
The 70-411 focuses on Windows Server 2012 administration. This unit covers the administration tasks necessary to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure such as Implementing Server Images, User and Group management with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Group Policy, Remote Access and Network Policies, Data Security, Monitoring and Update Management.
