Course Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement
to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of
sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
Pathways
The preferred pathway into this qualification is from the BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management. There are many pathways a graduating student could follow after achieving the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. Candidates may undertake
further higher education studies or proceed with studies related to their vocation.

Intakes
Students can enroll up to 2-weeks before the start of an upcoming Course Term - this is to allow us sufficient time to mail or courier certain hard-copy materials to students before or very close to the start of the course.
Course Terms
Term 1 – January 1, to February 28
Term 2 – April 1, to May 31
Term 3 – July 1, to August 31
Term 4 – October 1, to November 30
Assessment Due Dates
Some assessments may need to be submitted during the Course Term – details will be provided by the instructor at the commencement of the relevant Course Term. Otherwise, Course Term assessments shall be due as follows.
Term 1 – March 31
Term 2 – June 30
Term 3 – September 30
Term 4 - December 31
Fees
Course Fees - AU$4,800 or AU$400 per Unit payable in installments prior to the commencement of each Term (Note: This is a special introductory price for users of Speedy Course only)
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for both commencing and current students
Course Material
All course material is provided and costs are included in the Course Fee. Students may also be referred to other publically available material that is available free of charge.
Commitment
Students should allocate approximately 4 hours per unit per week for Virtual Classroom attendance (for a full-time load, 12 hours per week and in some weeks, 16 hours). Virtual Classroom sessions shall generally take place after 5 pm Sydney, Australia time
but will be recorded for students to access at any other time. Additionally, students should allocate approximately 13 hours per week per unit of study for review of materials and tasks, and assessment preparations (for a full-time load this means 39 hours
per week and in some weeks, 52 hours).
