Course Description
This qualification is designed to reflect the role of individuals working in accounting and seeking professional identification. At this level individuals are expected to apply theoretical and technical skills in a range of situations and to display initiative
and judgement in planning activities. They have autonomy in performing complex operations and can be responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating the work of others within broad but generally well-defined parameters.
Pathways
The preferred pathway into this qualification is from the FNS50215 Diploma of Accounting. There are many pathways a graduating student could follow after achieving the FNS60215 Advanced Diploma of Accounting. Candidates may undertake further higher education
studies or proceed with other studies related to their vocation.

Course Terms
Term 1 – January 1, to February 28
Term 2 – April 1, to May 31
Term 3 – July 1, to August 31

Assessment Due Dates
Assessments will be allocated to students at or close to the commenecement of the term and may need to be worked on throughout the term. However, the due date for formal submission of the completed assessments shall be as follows.
Term 1 – final week of March
Term 2 – final week of June
Term 3 – final week of September
Term 4 - final week of December
Fees
Course Fees - AU$5,600 or AU$400 per Unit payable in installments prior to the commencement of each Term (Note: This is a special introductory price for Speedy Course users only)
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for both commencing and current students.
Course Material
All course material is provided and costs are included in the Course Fee. Students may also be referred to other publically available material that is available free of charge.
Commitment
Students should allocate approximately 4 hours for each unit per week for Virtual Classroom attendance - generally 12 hours per week for a full-time load. Virtual Classroom sessions shall generally take place after 5 pm Sydney, Australia, time but will be recorded
for students to access at any other time. Additionally, students will be required to undertake a significant amount of self-study/homework details of which will be provided at the commencement of the relevant term. It is expected that the majority of students
will be required to allocate about 13 hours per week, per unit, of self-study/homework for review of materials and tasks, and assessment preparations and following the final week of term, approximately 40 hours per unit for completion and submission of the
assessments.
