Course description
Nationally Accredited Vocational Training - Teach your area of expertise in schools or TAFE Colleges.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment requires seven (7) core units of competency and three (3) electives. Upon completion of all ten (10) units of competency, the individual will be awarded a national qualification - TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. A Statement of Attainment can be awarded for the successful completion of individual units of competency.

What's involved?
The complete Certificate IV in Training and Assessment has ten (10) units of competency that can be covered in a number of ways.

The first and most common format is a ten (10) day face-to-face classroom instructional program, which includes time to complete assignments.

• The ten days are divided into two one-week blocks, 3-4 weeks apart.
  
• Between the first and second week of class, participants are required to make lesson plans to teach and assess a small group of people.
  
• Free student support is offered between these weeks and afterwards to keep you on track.
• Allow time to review the subject matter covered each day during the evenings of the workshops.
• Student guides and project templates are all included in the course.

Upgrade courses and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are available. We also offer block courses, self-paced courses and flexible delivery to suit your schedule.

How long is it?

The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment has ten (10) days of classroom workshops. Assignments and self-paced learning will supplement the face to face sessions. This Certificate IV level course involves face-to-face integrated delivery complemented by self managed learning. Flexible delivery schedules can be arranged and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available. Work-based projects can be completed over the following 36 weeks at the participant's discretion.
